The doorbell rang and rang. Noah's friends spilled in with presents wrapped in rainbow paper.

They played pin-the-tail, danced like noodles, and laughed until their tummies hurt.

Then Mama dimmed the lights and carried out a cake glowing with five tall candles.

Everyone sang. Noah closed his eyes and thought hard. What should he wish for?

He looked around at his friends, his family, his very own birthday crown. He had almost everything already.
