"I just need the ocean nearby," she whispered to the stars. So she packed her bags, grabbed her best friend, and left the snowy mountains of Alaska behind.

They drove through forests, over hills, past deserts and cities and fields full of sunflowers — all the way across the USA.

Two places sparkled in her mind: California with its golden glow… and Florida, where the ocean sang softly in her dreams. Florida called the loudest.

At last, they arrived in Miami, where the ocean waved hello and the breeze felt just right. She smiled wide. "This is it," she said. "This is home."

One week later, she was ready to explore. But first… she needed a friend.

So she picked up her phone and made a wish. Not a wish with stars… but a wish with words! "I'm new in this town," she wrote. "Looking for an ocean buddy!"

And just like that — ding! A message appeared. It was from a handsome, big-bearded man with a twinkle in his eye and a funny western shirt covered in bright patterns!
